Helping busy parents create a second income with 1 email a day and 1 main digital product

One of the lowest effort ways to make money with an email based biz is newsletter sponsor ads. You don't have to create a product. You don't really have to deal with customer service. You just get to pocket the cash generated from putting ads in your emails. There's a reason I can't stand them, but before I tell you please check out a word from this email's sponsor:
The reason I don't like sponsor ads is they really break up the text and turn your emails into a nearly unusable recipe blog post. If there was going to be any bit of flow in your content, kiss it goodbye unless you're really strategic about placement and email sections. Sure, it feels a lot more passive than selling your own stuff, but at what cost? There's also another issue with the sponsor ad business model which I'll get into after this ad:
Another issue with sponsor ads is you need a sizable audience to make any significant money. I'm talking thousands of readers who actually open and click so you can get paid. And if you have that level of traffic already, it's definitely worth it to you to put a bit of time into creating your own product or service. To be clear, I'm not saying it doesn't work or it's not a viable method. It absolutely does work and is viable. But when you have 42 readers and maybe get 0-5 clicks per email... You're better off selling your own stuff and becoming your own sponsor instead of littering your email with ads to make $6.32. That's part of what I talk about inside my upcoming ebook:
That said, I don't even want to send this email as it is now... But hey, at least they're my own ads. Talk soon, |
