Helping busy parents create a second income with 1 email a day and 1 main digital product

Somewhere along the line, I lost the plot. I started the year with a goal of selling 500 ebooks. Then I got worried about sales and VAT tax and started looking for platforms that take care of that for me. So I said screw that... I'll just focus all my efforts on Skool. Then I started a 90 day Threads challenge. Today is the end of week 6 and with my Skool group I've already:
Then I realized there ain't no way I can properly deliver on coaching with my current life situation. And none of my long term members were engaging in my Skool anymore, probably because they're too busy running their own businesses. So yesterday... I shut it down. There's nothing wrong with Skool. It's a terrific platform. But there was an absolutely massive problem with the way I set up my group. If you think about it... Wtf is an "Info Product Lifestyle" anyway? It's not something that's inherently understandable, especially for the market I'm working with. And I didn't do a good job of selling the idea. That's also why the IPL ebook only sold a handful of copies too. So that's it, that's a wrap. I might return to the Skool platform one day (no promises), but until then... I'm going to focus on a business model I actually understand and that fits my life: eBooks and courses. I understand this is the craziest time in my 255 consecutive daily email history to offer a new product considering the embarrassing failure to sell Skool... However, this is something I've been working on behind-the-scenes for a little while now. It's dramatically better than anything else I've ever released. Here's the link to check it out To be frank, I should have ended the Info Product Lifestyle "brand" a long time ago. Better late than never I guess. On to the next one! Talk soon, P.S. If you're curious as to how the Threads challenge is going, I'm doing a full write up tomorrow then get back to regular Sunday updates. |
